Any game must be quartered and packed to your camp, or a location near a trail that we can safely access with our stock.

We are based in Wallowa County, Oregon with our hunts located in the Imnaha and Snake River Units. Our base camps are one to three hours drive from Joseph, depending on the season and unit that you are hunting. Prior to your hunt, we will send you driving directions to the trailhead that you will be packed in from, as well as exact dates and times of pack-in.
Ranging from around 1000 ft at the Snake River to nearly 10,000 ft peaks, both the Snake River & Imnaha Units provide a look at quality wildlife.
The diverse terrain provides great deer habitat in both the Snake River and Imnaha Units.
The Snake River unit is accessible earlier in the year thanks to the lower elevation and provides phenomenal spring bear hunting.
We provide a number of options from drop camps to fully guided hunts for Sheep & Goat hunters in the region.
The 30% deposit is non-refundable. However, in certain circumstances, medical emergency or extreme weather conditions, we will work with you on rescheduling or rolling your deposit over to the next season.
Yes, you are responsible for purchasing license and tags prior to your hunt. For more information on available hunts, licensing requirements and how to apply, please visit ODFW for resources.
We require a 30% deposit to hold your reservation for the chosen hunt. Contact us early in the year as these are all on a first come, first serve reservation basis. If you fail to draw your tag, you can apply your deposit to a future hunt or summer trip. No refunds.
Hunts require a deposit for a minimum of two hunters. Final count for group needs to be provided 30 days prior to hunt, when full balance is due.
For every two paid hunters, you may bring one non-tag holder for 1/2 price.
Give us a call, or shoot us an email. Hunts are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Deposit will be required to secure your spot. Balance is due 30 days prior to your hunt.
In the fall of 2022, long time family friends, Shawn & Shelly Steen (Steen's Wilderness Adventures) chose to take a step back from the business and offered us the opportunity to build on their traditions and legacy as outfitters. We are honored to have the opportunity to continue to provide exceptional outfitting services in this remote corner of Wallowa County!
